Bronx, NY (August 7, 2025) – A man was hospitalized Tuesday after being struck by a subway train at the 233rd Street Station in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx.
The incident happened at the elevated station, which serves the 2 and 5 train lines. Emergency crews from FDNY and EMS responded within minutes, finding the victim near the tracks with visible injuries. He received on-site medical care before being transported to a local hospital.
