Motorcycle Accidents in New York

Motorcycle accidents in New York often lead to devastating consequences, as riders have little protection compared to occupants of cars or trucks. Collisions involving motorcycles frequently result in ejections, severe injuries, or fatalities.

Intersections are a common location for these accidents. Drivers making turns may fail to see approaching motorcycles or misjudge their speed, resulting in potentially dangerous collisions. In many cases, motorcyclists are struck even when they have the right of way.

Statistics show that riders are significantly more likely to suffer life-threatening injuries in crashes than drivers of other vehicles. Even when helmets and protective gear are used, they cannot fully prevent the catastrophic injuries that occur in high-impact collisions. Families affected by these accidents often face overwhelming medical bills, funeral expenses, and emotional loss.

A New York motorcycle accident lawyer can provide crucial support by investigating the crash, identifying liable parties, and helping families seek compensation for damages such as medical costs, lost income, and wrongful death claims.
