Manhattan, NY (November 7, 2025) – On Thursday morning, November 6, authorities responded to a fatal pedestrian accident at the intersection of Morton Street and 7th Avenue in the West Village.
Police reported that a 27-year-old woman was struck and killed by a van traveling the wrong way down Morton Street around 8:30 a.m. The victim was in the crosswalk when the collision occurred.
